Use this skill when an AI Agent (WorkBuddy, Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, etc.) must read or write Office files (.xlsx/.xls/.doc/.docx/.ppt/.pptx/.mdb/.accdb), PDF files (.pdf), WPS Office files (.wps/.et/.dps), OpenDocument files (.odt/.ods/.odp), Rich Text Format (.rtf), email files (.eml/.msg), CAD drawings (.dwg/.dxf), archives (.zip/.rar/.7z/.tar/.gz/.tgz/.bz2), or plain-text / source-code files (.txt/.md/.csv/.json/.log/.xml/.html/.py/.js/.ts/.java/.c/.cpp/.sql/.yaml/.ini) that are protected by transparent-encryption DLP software (ESAFENET, TianRui Green Shield, IP-Guard, DSE) and whose built-in Read/Write tools return only ciphertext. It provides a Node.js MCP Server pattern that reads/writes encrypted files as plaintext by delegating to whitelisted apps (Office/WPS/Outlook/AutoCAD COM or 7-Zip/LibreOffice CLI) via PowerShell, delegating to the existing DLP whitelist (the DLP policy is respected) for Node/Python. Includes a headless-safe Word path and a diagnosis procedure to find which processes are on the encryption-software trust whitelist.
